SENDONG AFTERMATH: VICTIMS STILL NEED A HELPING HAND

-
Mental Fuss

It’s been more than a month since the world’s deadliest storm in 2011, Typhoon Sendong, hit the Philippines and left Cagayan de Oro and Iligan City with irreparable damage not only because of the infrastructures and properties it harmed, but also because of the lives it took.
With hundreds of fatalities and victims, the onslaught of the typhoon has literally taken the South by storm.

STILL IN NEED OF HELP

A month had passed but the areas affected by the typhoon are undeniably still in need of help. Full recovery still seemed a distant thought, especially to the victims who lost their homes, their properties, their works, and their loved ones.
Though it had been evident that outpouring help from fellow Filipinos and even foreign countries had already been given, it is not yet enough. Many are still staying in evacuation centers and are in need of water, food, and money to rebuild their mud-tainted lives and homes.

EXTENDING SUPPORT

There are still a lot of mending and fixing to be done. Donations are still need, especially cash. You don't need to shell out a lot of money. Even minimal contribution will be a lot of help. All these put together will make a big difference to CDO and Iligan. Here is a comprehensive list of how you can extend your support to the victims of Typhoon Sendong.
